To celebrate Jake's arrival to Texas (and to have an excuse to grill something), we'll throw another "BBQ at Lou's house".

I'd think that a weekend would be better for everyone. Probably Saturday evening again.
So the 12th of September? Or the 19th?
Post up or forever hold your peace.

Lou

Admin Edit:
Day: Sat Sept 26th
Time: 6pm onward
Venue: Lou's house again (PM for directions)

I see, you're taking a vacation site-seeting road trip! smile.gif
Sure, we can make it the 26th. I'll put that date in, tentatively.

Who's in, guys?

I say we use it as a road trip excuse to show him some of our fun Texas roads, to explore our hill country twisties! And not JUST Lime Creek Rd, but a little more & longer. Lime Creek last time, was over too long. We could end in a afternoon dinner, like Michael Marr used to do his Kars 4 Kids cruises, with LOTS of makes & model cars as a benefit raiser.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it! I'll be mobile uploading updates and pics via facebook, if anyone feels so inclined you are welcome to friend add me and "follow along" lol

I look forward to BBQing and learning from the masters. I'm quite the BBQist by Washington standards anyways. I grill rain or shine! My Girlfriend Sarah is going to tag along if thats ok, maybe someone bring along a lady so she's not all alone?

I'm totally down for a cruise! that would be a fun way for me to get to know some of the local area too!

I suggest we discuss the cruise in a separate thread.
Let's use this one to set up the BBQ only.

My wife will be at the BBQ, go figure, she lives at my house! lol.gif
And I'm sure people will be bringing their girlfriends too.

It's up to you whether you want to burn gas in both cars.
And if you can't decide which one to bring, drive the prettier one! smile.gif

It would be a little costly but really cool to have a his & hers show up. Wouldn't that be an ATGO first?

Count me in for the party. Lou...what can I bring? You gonna start a sign up sheet?

My bird won't make it cause inspection expired (no funds to get her up to par), so I'll be there with the shark. biggrin.gif

Sign up sheet is a good idea. I just wanted to make sure we'd have decent attendance first. It looks like it's gonna happen. Spread the word, guys!

Don't worry about your bird not making it. Drive anything.
Although, my car is out of inspection but I WILL have it at the party .... lol.gif

Ok, let's start a signup sheet.
I'll go buy propane tonight, yay!
And I have some turkey legs that we'll throw on the grill.

What can you guys bring? Meat, buns, sodas, chips, dips, utensils ...
