Guys, I have a very urgent emergency situation. I am pressed for time, otherwise I'd buy one online and have it shipped.
I need to quickly borrow an external enclosure for a 2.5" (laptop) hard drive to pull data from it. I need to do so within a day or two.
If anybody has one I could borrow or knows of one that I can purchase locally, please help.

Thanks a million in advance.
Lou

Yes, sir. I was surprised, they actually had a few on the shelf (I don't trust local stores to have what they show online).
I broke down and bought one but the hilarious thing is that the whole casing is crooked and the hard drive doesn't fit unless you remove the other end of the case. Funny.

There is always Radio Shack right beside the HEB near your house at Parmer/MoPac.

RadioShack doesn't carry these, I called.
But another problem is that the USB external hard drive adapters won't recognize a primary partition. It's their limitation, by design.
Which defeats their purpose because THAT is the one I need to access. Sometimes I really think these creators just don't think with their brains.

So back to the drawing board. Now I need a 2.5" IDE cable to connect my HD to the IDE channel on my MB.
