So would anybody be interested? We have members who can't make it to the breakfasts so it would be nice to have a dinner meet from time to time. Not necessarily every month.

Should we try something up north? We've been to Pluckers and it was a success (biggest turnout ever). We can try Tilted Kilt again. Or we could do the Sonic invasion that we've talked about for a few years now. smile.gif Although, we wouldn't be able to sit and talk at a table.

Thoughts? Which day of week?

Lou

Admin Edit:
We will be meeting on the Owen-Tech Blvd just south west of the Sonic on Wells Branch by I-35.

Actually Lou, Sonics DO have tables that we could invade and sit down. Just its been Cold lately and I doubt anyone would be willing to do it, because their tables are Outside. Since Your Recomending something North, I'd say that Pluckers doesn't sound Half bad. But Chuy's IS delicious.

And BTW what is Tilted Kilt? sounds like a Bar. What evers decided though, I know I will be there

For the days, i'd say we should do it in the middle of the week like Wednesday or Tuesday. So that way its not crowded or anything like that.

Smilie =)

I vote a Sonic invasion, maybe coupled with a cruise!

Most Sonics have the picnic tables under shades in front of the store, so we COULD sit together & talk. In particular, I'm thinking the one inn Marble Falls on 1431, which could make for a good cruise. There's even a good mexican food restaraunt called Margaritas)in Marble Falls that we used to use for the big Kars for Kids cruises, complete with police escort. Got them to block traffic at intersections, we got to run red lights, etc.! Since it was a charity cruise, even non-street legal cars could run, as long as a trailer was there to bring them back.

Or, just a closer Sonic with tables. There are several around.

Sonic - aha, didn't know they had tables. And you're right about the cold, so we can skip the invasion for now. smile.gif
Pluckers - good food, we've been there before and I think everybody liked it.
Chuys - I agree, the 183 location has delicious food. Though, I've been to Lamar and RR and was very disappointed.
Tilted Kilt - a sports bar (Irish Eatery), kinda like Pluckers. Lots of TV screens, good atmosphrere, great food. (been meeting there with the diesel club for over a year)
Sherlock's Pub - another eatery/bar with good atmosphere

Lou

Tilted Kilt is what I vote for, Since I have not actually been there and im a big fan of Scottish-Irish places. Only question, they will let a 20 year old in right? Sorry, I just don't know.
Or Pluckers since its been done before, and everyone Liked it.

OH YEAH! Been a LONG time since I've been inside there. Always very empty too.

No worries about the temp, weather, etc. that way.
