Selling the stock rear from my LS project, it has disk brakes and 3.42 gears. Anyone interested?

Well, going into day two, no reply...

89LS1, let me know if you still want to get rid of that rear end.

Lending a Hand

I'm interested.  Couple of questions:

1) What is it from?
2) What does it come with?
3) How much?
4) Can you deliver? smile.gif

My old '84 Z28 had a posi, 3.73 stock, with the aluminum drum brakes.  My wife insisted on it going into her '90 RS. that had a 3.08 peg leg rear.

Ok, as TexasSilhouette and I figured out I was incorrect on the gearing of the rear end. Its a 3.27 posi setup. He does not need it. If anyone else is interested please let me know.

I've wondered...On the 9 bolts (which obviously yours is, since it has 3.27 gears) are the brake line fittings the same as the GM 10 bolts?

Why are you switching out the rear?  The 9 bolt is stronger than 10 bolt, has a bigger ring & pinion, and basically the 9 inch of the GM world

Well I know the brake fittings are the same because the 4gen rear I put in the car bolted right up to the brake lines, with no modifications. I changed it to the 4gen for the extra 2 inchs on each side for some wider wheels.
