I'm planning on getting a new system in my truck and already have my amp picked out...

I'm gonna get a Hifonics 1600 Watt mono block amp

and was wondering if anyone has seen the HiFonic subwoofers for sale anywhere?

either store or respectable online store... either or.. I want them... I want them badly...

Hifonics rock!  I only know of a couple of places in town, that carry them.  But, that was YEARS ago, maybe more stores carry them now, maybe nobody.  :dunno:

I know where the stores are, but not the names of the stores.   Sorry!

I'd love to have a Hifonics sub system!  Well, Hifonics amps, JLA subs=PERFECTION, in my eyes!

Yep JLs are plentyfull and not as expensive as everyone says they are.  You just don't go and buy them from Custom Sounds....

I just looked up the internet Price for those 12w3s and it was 179$

Right now I have:

Pioneer CD Player
2x  Kicker Comp VR 12"
MA Audio 2 Channel 800 Watt

it will prolly be a little while before I can save up for everything, I was either gonna upgrade my truck's system or put it into a Camaro that I don't have yet.. which I'd have to get first... which isn't looking too promising but ya never know... crazy dude! he's tryin to stop me from getting a 3rd Gen camaro and get a older firebird... .. I'm like.. that's not a camaro.. "still made by GM"  "it's not even the right body style I want" "so? it's close enough..." "STFU!" GAH...

2 JL W3s need more amp than what you have right now to get the most out of them.  What kinda amp are you running again Travis?

When ever I get my car back I'm gonna need new subs.  I already have an 800 watt earthquake amp, so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.  I'll most likely go with either a couple of JLs or maybe a couple of Infinity Perfects.  With the Perfects, I won't need a new amp, because they are more sound quality then all out bump, so I can get away with less wattage because I probably won't want to thump them too hard.  Where as with a JL, if you throw some good clean power at them, they will knock your hatch open or blow the windshield....they just don't sound best when doing that.  Thats the nice thing about JL, they can sound great, and they can slam hard, all in one sub.

well right now there underpowered and im aware of that...im only running a Boss 800watt and they are getting 200rms each so they are 100 under the rating and im going to get the jl 500/1 amp so i will have 250 rms each...but im not worried about a new amp yet because my shit bangs hard enough for me right now...and i still have tuning on the to do

the amp I have now says 300w rms per channel at 2 ohm which is what I'm running at now

or 800 watt rms bridged at 2 ohm... but I can't get my speakers to 2 ohm bridged si I'm stuck at 300 each

Hell, I'm settling for my Bazooka sub!  Only reason I even have it, is because it was already in the car, when I bought the car!
