Well I Just bought 2 12" Kicker Comp VR, specs below

http://www.kicker.com/compvr

400 watts rms, 800 watts max, 2ohm dual voice coil

they are in a custom probox to fit in the hatch.

was wondering what a good amp for be and the best way to wire the subs.

1.Should i wired the subs in parallel or series?

i understand if i hook them up in a parellel then i would need a mono-block amp, the box has two connectors for wires but i can hook both together and use only one.

i really didnt want kicker subs or any of there products but i got a great deal on them brand new so i had to 100$ for a pair, i have a buddy whos got a brand new audiobahn A8000T that he would sell me for 100$, would that be a good match for the price?

Thanks in advance

well i just noticed, if i wire the subs in parellel then it would come out to a 1ohm load, if i wire them in series then i get a 4ohm load....
then audiobahn amp i don't know it is stable at 1 ohm cause every specs i have read on it doesn't say anything about 1 ohm.

Looks to me like its a single voice coil than can run 2 or 4 ohm.

I think this is the way you want to go. find a good amp that runs about 800watt at 4ohm, and run them together.

If you can't find a good powerful 4ohm amp, grab a 2 ohm, and run it like this

Wiring half depends on which amp you use.

Something like this would work well with the first diagram

I hope this helps.

basically the way i have it hooked up now is each sub is at 1 ohm, if i connect both subs to a mono block wouldnt i get a 2 ohm impedance?

If they are dual voice coil, each sub has 2 sets of connectors, they should be wired liked this for 2 ohm

2channel amp

if hooking it up to a mono amp

I've always had better luck keeping subs at 2 ohms, hence why I'm giving you the diagrams for 2 ohm on everything. Now, if you were wrong, and these are single voice coil, you want to do this

2 channel amp

mono

hope that helps.
