My first set was only 3 levels & had no stop at the end. Not that I ever drove off them, but these will just be better! I could even add a 3rd level to one or both pieces, making it 5 or 6 pieces.....or more! Oil change time? No jack needed, no jack stands. Drive on.....change your oil.....back off. DONE! NO possible jack failure...NO possible jack stand failure. I could drive a 18 wheeler up these things & be perfectly safe underneath! Yes, one has a longer lower level, due to letting Lowes cut it for me. Couldn't exactly get a 12' footer home in my GTA. So I had them cut to length there. I'm probably going to trim the long one one to match the short one. Photobucket

I would definitely cut down the stop under 45 degree angle to allow more room for the tire.
Good job, man!

You have Version 1.0, where all the levels have 45 degree cuts. I was just being lazy, and didn't cut these. I can easily cut the 45s whenever.

Good thing about the 2-piece design, if you only wanna get it up 3" (insert joke here lol.gif ), like to fit a floor jack under the car easier, you can use only 1 piece. And I can easily add levels.

Thats pretty cool. i'm gonna have to build me one of those now. That looks like its alot eayser than trying to get it up on Jack stands. Would be great for oil changes and such things. nice idea goodidea.gif

Heavy, but the store-bought steel ones are to short & steep, so the nose would hit the ramps before the tires did.

That is such a simple yet brilliant idea! Looks like it works perfect. Nice job. I may have to steal this idea for my truck. I've only been able to find one set wide enough for my wheels, but it was too high for the 3/5 drop.

Thanks. The Version 1.0 worked fine on Crystal's lowered 90. Those were only 3 levels, so 1.5" shorter & 1 piece, so heavier. No, with only 2 levels, each piece islighter & zero chance of driving off the end (hers didn't have the stops).

All thos store-bought steel ones are too short & would hit her car before the tire went up, so I made the wooden ones. And ended up giving them away to another lowered 3rd gen owner. I was in the apt., so I felt there was no need for me to keep them.
