From AFB....
"Went with a Magnaflow catback and have this taking up space in my garage. I had to use a saws all and cut it but it can be welded. (one cut) Any shop could do it for $25. The set up sells for $250 new. I'll take $80 or trade on some descent tires. Thanks " What I don't understand is...I have a TSP cat-back...It comes with a Magnaflow muffler. Now, is he saying he switched to a Magnaflow....or what? $80 is a helluva good price on them. TSP Rumbler -------------------- |

Why did you post your question in the classifides?
Your TSP (for a 3rd Gen) might have included a regular Magnaflow muffler, but his TSP (for the LS1 Fbody) has Dynomax Bullet Mufflers. You can get different exhaust packages from different re-sellers. Not all TSP's are identical from all re-sellers. |

The TSP Rumbler is built with the bullet. No if, ands, or buts about it. If it has something else, it isn't the Rumbler cat back. And you must have missed my point. My TSP Rumbler IS THE LS1 CAT BACK, mounted on my 3rd gen. Hence, I have the EXACT SAME ONE being sold. That means I too have the bullet muffler before the axle. -------------------- |

You missed the point all together. He has the TSP RUMBLER setup for sale. TSP's own website lists Dynomax Bullet Mufflers and NOT Magnaflow. Just because YOU got them when they were sold with Magnaflow Bullet Mufflers, doesn't mean they are or are not on what he is selling. He never listed what mufflers were on them. You assumed they were Magnaflow based on what you got from TSP...but read TSP's own website and you will see they have a different muffler on them now. He posted he already has a Magnaflow Cat-Back already installed so that nobody would offer to swap exhausts or have to wait for him to remove the TSP setup from his car. Also be aware that when someone orders an exhaust package, they usually do not have the items on hand. They wait for individual items to be shipped to them to assemble AFTER the order is placed by the end customer. I know this for a fact because Adam ordered a TSP kit with Moroso Bullet Mufflers and after 8 weeks of waiting, he called TSP and TSP was still waiting on their shipment of Moroso Bullet Mufflers. Adam didn't want to wait any longer so TSP said they could put on any bullet muffler they had in stock and ship it out that same day. So the end result is that Adam has the TSP kit he ordered but with a different muffler. |

OK...Looking at the site I didn't realize they had changed mufflers. Jason put the kit on before I bought the car & I know he didn't hafta wait 2 months to get it. I wasn't real crazy about the sound, until the brand new cat got broke in. Now it sounds good. Too quiet (for me) & I still prefer the sound of 2 chamber Flowmasters on a 3rd gen, but this is what's on the car & only 2 years old now, so it stays. I might swap out for a Flowmaster some day, but I'm in no hurry to.
